Customer Question

I have a beovision 10 with wireless speakers beolab 17 and 18. The beolab 17 do not turn on; I can also not access the set up function on the TV with the beo4 remote control (it is set to mode 1).

I am Pete, and I'll be happy to assist with your question today.
How old are the Beolab 17 speakers?
Have they been damaged in any way? (eg. power surge)
If they are quite old and/or have suffered from possible damage, then they will require a repair or replacement.

They are only 1 year old and have been in their location - nobody touching or moving them - during our vacation. They worked before we left, but do not turn on since our return.

In cases like this where equipment appears to fail without reason, damage has often been caused by a thunderstorm or power surge.
The speakers can be returned to your B&O dealer for repair, but if damage has been caused then the repair will not be covered by warranty.
