I have a Philips 42PFP5332 and the picture looks saturated

Customer Question

I have a Philips 42PFP5332 and the picture looks saturated (especially the deep blacks). It almost looks like a photo negative. This condition comes and goes... what can it be?

Yes

A couple of things here
1)Bad capacitors on the power-board
2)Poor regulation on the power-board
3) A bad main-board
Visual checks on the power-board are needed initially before a decision is made on the next part of the procedure it does seem like power-board issues from what you are saying ,can you carry out work yourself with the set?
Let me know please I will provide all the necessary details for checks etc
Regards
Anthony
