When I came inside, there was a message on my tv screen saying signal had been lost for about 4 hrs; also, 771- Signal lost on Satellite in 1. I have checked receiver, and used the reset button; still no signal. Help?

Can you as the first step remove the power to the TV and wait 10 minutes.
