Hello, my name is***** am an independent tech connected to you via this pay for assistance website service. Your satisfaction is my top priority and in return your positive rating is the only way I will receive credit for my time. To get started we need more information (additional details may be required):
1. Who is your tv channel provider?
2. Is there a provider box/dvr with remote?

Armstrong cable.

The size and shape of the picture on your screen is set in two places. One is the Tv the other is the cable/satellite box. You need to experiment using a combination of both of these settings until you find a size/shape you like.

On the LG remote use the "Q MENU" button then the option is called "Aspect Ratio".

On your cable box remote the button may be called something like- Size, Zoom, Aspect, Format. Pressing the button repeatedly should cycle to the next available size/shape which may vary depending on if you are looking at an HD channel or SD channel. Because there are so many different boxes and remotes you might need to contact Armstrong.
