Hi and welcome to JustAnswer,

Thank you for the question and your patience. Should you still need assistance for information purposes only...

Initially, bear with us; re-confirm and post back with the complete model number of the Coby speakers. Additionally, is the TV directly connected to an antenna? ...or is there a cable box?
Equally important, are there any jacks/ports at the side or rear of the TV marked as AUDIO OUT
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

The Coby speakers are the CSP97, the tv is connected to the cable box.

yes, there is jack/port at the side and rear of the television.

Appreciate the additional information.

Any of these "...jack/port at the side and rear of the television..." labeled as AUDIO OUT?

And what are the labels of the jacks/ports of the CSP97?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

tv L/R,

DVD f/l, f/r,

DVD s/l, s/r,

DVD Cen/sw

Hi again and thanks.

Based on these, then the TV could not be directly connected to the CSP97 since to my understanding, none of the TV's red & white jacks are intended to be for AUDIO OUT. The only Audio output jack is an orange RCA for SPDIF/Coaxial Digital Audio and not compatible with those of the CSP97.

Would a hopeful workaround serve your purpose please?
