I have three Samsung Smart TV's, one 55” and two 42” sets. They work fine and have a beautiful picture quality.I have two issues… (1) On the 42” TV Dish is our provider and I have a Joey connection on this TV. I have a Samsung Sound Bar. I also have a TR 175 Sennheiser Headphone set. They work well together. I typically set the TV speakers to “0” when I use the headphone set. It works fine with the Live TV and with all the various selections from my DVR. The problem is when I play from an App (specifically, the Amazon Prime App) I cannot get the sound to come through the Headphones. I can use the Sound Bar, but that defeats the purpose of having the silent environment for evening use.(2) On the 55” TV Dish is our provider and I have a Hopper connection on this TV. I have a Polk Audio Sound Bar. When am using the Sound Bar, the TV speakers continue to play and appear to mimic the volume level of the Sound Bar. The result is that there are two competing audios and the sound is blurred. How do I turn off the TV speakers when the Sound Bar is on?Thanks for the assistance! … read more
