Hello my name is Anthony
Thanks for the Question

I may be a few minutes between each request for info thanks for your patience!

Is the power light lit or blinking red please?

Hi Judy

Please make sure you have bypassed any surge limiter by going direct to the power socket with the set, if it still wont fire up its likely the powerboard has took a hit as that seems likely you should use the warrenty on the set and let panasonic deal with this, if the set was out of warrenty then I would be directing you to make tests and repairs on the powerboard however you cant do that because it will invalidate the warrenty

I am sorry this isnt anything easier
Please let me know if you need more info.
