Thanks for the question. My name is Dan, and I'm sorry to hear about your TV.

Is it turning off, then back on? Off, on, off, on?

Best,
Dan

Cynthia,

When it turns off, what do the little lights on the front do?

Ok, let's see if we can get a diagnostic code out of it. Try this... turn the TV on and wait for it to turn itself off. Now on the TV's front panel (not the remote) press and hold the ACTIVITY and CH DOWN (-) buttons simultaneously, and hold for at least 5 seconds. The front panel LED should flash, denoting a 2-digit code. For example... 1 flash, pause, 2 flashes... the code would be "12." Can you see if your TV is giving a code?

dan my husband rescaned the stations and it has not shut down since

Cynthia,

Channel scanning would have nothing to do with the TV shutting down, but I'm happy to hear it's not acting up! If it shuts down by itself again, run the test I posted.
