Customer Question

When I hook up an antenna, it says no channels found. But when I hook up the same antennna on a different HDTV, the channels come in great. Also, I hooked up the cable line directly to the TV, and not through the cable box, and it scanned in the available channels, so I know its not the tuner. It worked a year ago, and I just tried it again today and now nothing.

An antenna connection requires the DIGITAL tuner to recieve local TV channels, and the Cable Box only sends out an ANALOG Channel 3 or 4 signal. It also can connect to the TV set using the Low Def Composite cables -

Or the High Def Component or HDMI cables --

From your description it points to the Digital tuner can't store the Antenna signals, but the other choices work fine.

Now, did you activate the FULL AUTOPROGRAM that scans both the Digital and Analog channels?

If so, your digital tuner is Dead on the DM module.

Ok, the DM module contains the ATSC digital tuner.
