Howdy from Texas, I'm Chase and I will assist you here! So you've installed a used transmission and now it has a hard shift with a P0776 code. This sounds like the shift solenoid B is either bad or faulted. It could just be the solenoid itself or problems with the line pressure OR a wiring issue to the transmission.

This code relates to the pressure control solenoid. It could be also, that the pressure line is blocked/plugged up.

Hi, I read about that sensor and was thinking to try with the one from old tranny.

Hey hey! This doesn't necessarily mean a bad Electronic Control Module, but again, it could be a wiring issue. I would check the line pressure, then move to the line pressure solenoid B. If that doesn't remedy the issue I would check for a bad wire somewhere. THEN the ECM. It's very rare for the ECM to cause this issue my friend.

If the transmission fluid looks good and has a good level, after that, these are the next points of interest. :)

Anything else for today?

Not good, change solenoid from old tranny and valves body, now no hard shift but takes forever to engage gears, i think both trannies are bad
Transmission Mechanic: Chase Sloan,

Yep...I think you've got a bigger issue here my friend. Sounds like a new transmission is in order OR a complete overhaul of the lesser of the two bad ones. Hopefully my answers were helpful.
