Do you have a test light or volt meter?

Ask Your Own Transmissions Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
No. Not with me
My suspicion is that it is a fuse or some electrical problem common to these areas that are not working
Transmission Mechanic: Mike V., Technician replied 4 months ago

I agree, I think it's at least one fuse, if it's more then one we might be dealing with a bigger issue.

Check the stop lamp fuse in the fuse box inside the car. Looks like fuse #11 could be the reason you can't get it out of park. Check it and let me know please.

Thanks

I'm sorry it is **************

Transmission Mechanic: Mike V., Technician replied 4 months ago

Did you get my reply on the fuse? I am not able to make a call at this time sorry to say, but check fuse 11 and let me know if you can then get it out of park.

I typed the last digit incorrectly It is ***************

Transmission Mechanic: Mike V., Technician replied 4 months ago

kindly check fuse #11 in the fuse box inside the car. If it's blown, replace it and see if the car will then come out of park. Please try this and let me know.

Thank you.

Again, I am unable to call at this time.
