Chrysler 62TE transmission on a 2009 van (VW Routan).
On highway appears to drop out of gear, intermittently. A few times in a day and then nothing for a month or two.
Changed trans oil and filter at 30,000 miles (dealer as part of sale) ,and again at 96,000 miles (After the first time it dropped out of gear). It has been 5000 miles since change (101,000 currently) and the drop outs continue. Finally kicked out a code.
Code: P0755
Wondering if just the solenoid pack OR if the pressure sensor or regulating solenoid are also problematic?

Hi my name is ***** ***** I will be happy to assist with this today. In some cases I may need more info to assist better.I apologize for any delay.

The code that is set here is for the 2/4 transmission solenoid shorted or open circuit. This is intermittent so this does usually indicate as intermittent as it is this is not a computer or wiring fault but the solenoid itself at fault.

The solenoid pack TRS pack assembly has to be replaced to correct this issue.

If more help is needed, use the reply tab to continue our conversation. If no further assistance is needed, kindly rate my service, your 5 star rating is appreciated ( should be a link to click on here or above). You can rate at any time and we can continue to work on your question as this will not close out your question.Keep in mind in some cases it can be difficult to fully diagnose or help repair your vehicle without seeing it and I work on delivering the best possible answer from what I see to work with.

Thanks Pete

the pressure sensor or regulating solenoid are generally not known to have any issues, just the pack?
Transmission Mechanic: Pete, Automotive Mechanic replied 10 months ago

The regulating solenoid can be an issue sometimes but usually if it was an issue you would see more codes for it being at fault as well as other solenoids acting up as it regulates fluid pressure for the solenoids to operate properly.I dont see that as the cause here since it is only the 2/4 code set.

Let me know if you need anything else and feel free to rate my help here or above ( should be a link to click on ) as this is how I receive credit for my time, this can be done at any time and you can still come back here and reply if needed.Your 5 star rating is appreciated

Thanks Pete
