Mechanic's Assistant: This is potentially serious. How long has it been going on?

Has a whining noise It started after I repaired the rakenpinge

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your Infiniti?

2006 infinity m35 Drain all the transmission fluid and put new one

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your M35 yourself? What have you tried so far?

Nothing at all It gave me the syneloide censor in the computer

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

That I changed the power steering pump and it's still doing the same thing I also put the computer on again and made sure it wasn't in limp mode

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If it's actually slipping after running for a period and then engages normally again after a cooldown period that usually indicates a line pressure drop due to a debris restricted filter. I question whether it's actually slipping or if it's going into limp in though, which could be mistaken for slipping.

Are any fault codes currently setting?

I already told you the codes
Transmission Mechanic: sprinkles08, ASE Certified Technician replied 10 months ago

Only the third of those three posts displayed earlier.

These are solenoid codes and when active then the trans would be in limp in.

Is it actually slipping as you previously said, or is it actually staying in one gear but still driveable?

It's slippin today I took out the old transmission fluid wish was jet black flush it with atf fluid from discount and then went to the dealer and bought six quarts of original infinity oil and it worked so far but my steering wheel still hard
Customer reply replied 10 months ago
I switched the pump already can it be the rack enpinge because that what I switched right before my steering got hard and I already replaced power steering pump
Transmission Mechanic: sprinkles08, ASE Certified Technician replied 10 months ago

If the transmission is actually slipping and the fluid is burnt then that indicates internal transmission failure.

It's possible that lack of power steering assist could be a problem in the rack but the pump is more likely. A power steering pressure gauge would need to be used to know for sure.
