Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose), my normal schedule online is around lunch and after dinner past midnight.

Have you had it scanned to see which codes are stored?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
We had scanned knock sensor was one check engine light has been on since I bought it last year December 2015, we changed plugs, new plug wires I'm unsure if there's a transmission sensor related to this reason it shuts down the vehicle will shut down like 4 to 5 min. of driving have to keep reving engine while driving so it won't stall.

Do you recall the code number that is stored?

It appears your scan tool is not sophisticated enough to get transmission codes. Do you know someone with a better tool?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
We scanned at o'riellies, and a mecanic also scanned it at his shop, he owned alot of subaru s. HE cleaned the knock sensor cleared the computer we drove home and it started doing the same thing.

I can help diagnose the knock sensor code and stalling concern but the transmission light my answer would be more generic on not know which codes are stored. Is that okay?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I will get scanned again and get bk with you tomarrow I'm a courier driver and working until 5 am. DRIVING now.
