My F350 when cold shifts the way it should but when warmed

Customer Question

My F350 when cold shifts the way it should but when warmed up it jerks when shifting. The truck has about 95,000 miles and has never been abused. I am the original owner. Is there anyway to correct this problem without spending a lot of money.
JA: What year is your F350? Are you fixing your F350 yourself? What have you tried so far?

do you happen to know the last time the fluid was serviced?

i would start with changing the fluid and filter if it has not been done. if it continues to have the same symptom it could be your torque converter going bad. but if you are not wanting to spend the money adding a quart of lucas stop slip may help out if the issue is still there. this stuff actually works quite well. but is not a permanent fix by any means.
