chevy captiva 2012...transmission bucks a bit...should i check transmission level and add transmission fluid to already existing or drain and add new fluid?
JA: When was the last time your transmission fluid was checked? Changed?
Customer: its a friends of mine...i have to check it but it has never been completely changed?
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i was going to check level and add and if it continues then getting it completely changed
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?

Hi there,

There is a procedure to check the trans level with a scan tool attached to monitor trans temp.

I would recommend you have it checked at a Chevy dealer.

There may be some other abnormality with the vehicle.
