Customer Question

I have notice oil or transmission fluid on the bottom of the transmission case. 2013 Ford Explorer. The vehicle drives great no issues with shifting etc. gonna have it checked out at a transmission shop. Any ideas what the problem could be
JA: When was the last time your transmission fluid was checked? Changed?
Customer: It's been a while. That will be done Monday
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Vehicle runs great no issues other than the leaking that was found this week
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: I have the oil changed on a regular basis. The vehicle has 109k miles on it. Again I have never had any mechinal problems and the vehicle still drives like it is brand new. Just trying to figure out the leaking. Hoping for a bad seal / gasket.
