Customer Question

I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. It shifts hard in reverse and won't shift through the gears while driving. It is an automatic transmission. Just wondering if this is an issue around the transmission module control unit.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it the original transmission?
Customer: There are 240,000 miles on the car. The transmission is original.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, I am fixing this myself. I have had a diagnostic test run which resulted in an issue most likely around the module control.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: No, the mechanic was aware of the miles and year of the car.
