Mazda Mazda3: I have a manual transmission and almost 200k

Customer Question

I have a manual transmission and almost 200k mileage on my car. It is getting slower and slower and i cant get up certain hills or even have pick up from a stopping poitn. Is this because my transmission is failing?

From what you are describing, and with that many miles... it sounds more like the Clutch is wearing out and will need to be replaced. This is actually more common with manual transmissions. The clutch usually fails before the actual transmission.
