i have a 1995 plymouth voyager..everytime i shift my gear to drive,its look like the gear is in 2nd gear.the engine is taking hard time ..its my transmission axle wearing out.?

Hio .

This is because the transmission management system has found a malfunction within the system and has put your transmission into limp mode (safe mode) which will be 2nd or 3rd gear .

You need to get to a repair shop and have the system check for transmission malfunction codes .

Could be anything like the most common issue a input or output speed sensor .

But a diagnostic scan will confirm this for you.
