2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser. Manual transmission. 2.4L.

Customer Question

2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser. Manual transmission. 2.4L. NON-Turbo.
Manual transmission jerking in all gears. It shifts ok, but then starts to jerk. I've owned this car for 8 years. It has about 92k miles.
This just started a few days ago. The check engine light came on the 2nd day after it started. The clutch feels the same as it always has. It shifts fine. But, then when driving after in gear, it starts to jerk. It does this in all gears, even when going down the highway at about 65 mph.
