Customer Question

hi. I have a defective Transfer Case in my 2006 C280 4matic. It will cost me 5700.00 to fix. Is there any recourse with this. I see other people have had this problem too. Was there any notification to car owners about this problem? I am so dead in the water with that kind of bill. :-(

I am sorry that you have not been helped yet. I just came online and saw your question

When you say defective, what has been diagnosed as the cause of failure?

How many miles on your C280? Has the transfer case fluid ever been changed and if so, how recently?

I need the last 8 of the vin number to check for any related service bulletins or recalls?
