2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer. When coming to a stop, the transmission doesn't downshift to first. When I try to drive, you can tell it's in a higher gear. I then place the transmission in first manually and it works. It's an intermittent problem. Will downshift
at the first 5-15 stops then I'll come to a stop and go to take off and it's still in a higher gear causing me to manually shift. Otherwise, the shifting is smooth when not faulting and smooth shifting in manual. Shifting Solenoid Sensor? No ECL's come on...

I am sorry your having this problem

have you ever had a transmission service of the pan dropped and filter changed or a complete flush ?

there are no history codes set in the computer ?

has anything been done yet to correct this problem yet ?
