Will not shift out of low gear
Expert:  Marty replied 1 year ago.

Are you scanning the transmission control unit or just the engine control unit?

Expert:  Marty replied 1 year ago.

It's not going to come out of limp home mode until you erase the codes in the transmission control unit. If your scanner can't read and erase the codes in the TCU that is the problem. You need to erase the codes in the TCU and it should be fine as long as your new transmission is good.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it's in limp mode... Do I need a new speed control sensor or just clear coded
Expert:  Marty replied 1 year ago.

Sorry for the wait I was driving home.

Expert:  Marty replied 1 year ago.

The transmission is in limp home mode. You don't need a new speed sensor unless the codes return after you erase the codes in the transmission control unit. You need a factory level scan tool to erase the fault codes in the transmission control unit.

Let me know if you need anything else.
