Hello and thanks for using
Are there any warnings on the dash? Can you tell me if your brake lights are working?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
There is a (F) code on the dash. The brake lights are working. The warning says the one of the gears is not functioning properly.

Ok both these indicate a transmission fault. This will be difficult to diagnose without a Land Rover factory tool. I first recommend we check the battery and cable connections as a low voltage condition can cause this. Another possibility is a problem with the transmission control module. I also have seen the electrical connector sleeves leaking causing fluid in the connector. We can also try disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable for 10 minutes to see if the system will reset. Another possibility is an electrical harness fault or fault in the shifter. Let me know.
