Buick Lasabre: My 2004 buick lasabre is having transmission

Customer Question

My 2004 buick lasabre is having transmission has a problem shifting down from higher gears to low,it will jerk and sometimes pause before I get low gear. I had the fluid and filter changed, plus all new selinoids installed.still have the problem.i have to put it down in low when I first start it in order to have any gears. Occasionally I have no gears at all,and will go 2 or 3 hours and have gears again. Can this be the speed sensor.? my speed odometer works fine. I have put a lot of money in repairs and still have not found the problem.I only have 77,200 miles on this vehicle.
