1995 Chevy 2500 6.5l diesel. Runs fine cold. When warmed up just rebuilt transmission may shifts hard, engine goes into a slow mode. May not restart until cooled off. I replaced the PMD and the fuel injection pump. What could cause this problem? Bad Ignition switch?

Check the engine coolant temp sensor signal.If this sensor is sending a false reading when warm this can occur here and cause this issue needing replaced.If this was already checked and found o.k. let me know.
