Hello and welcome to JustAnswer. Please note: This is general information for educational purposes only and is not legal advice. No specific course of action is proposed herein, and no attorney-client relationship or privilege is formed by speaking to an expert on this site. This answer is given based on the facts provided above. Contact a local attorney to further discuss these issues. By continuing, you confirm that you understand and agree to these terms.

These things happen. Please note the parking ticket/citation would not contain a court hearing date and time. However, the citation will have several options including setting this matter for hearing. Follow those instructions on the citation and you will receive a date and time for hearing in the mail. Attend the hearing and bring evidence of that you are properly registered including the placard and any other documentation. The citation then should be dismissed.

Good luck.
