I have 9 points on my license, 22 year old single male,

Customer Question

I have 9 points on my license, 22 year old single male, living in NY. I got a speeding violation which would cost me 4 points in NYC. I have a court date for July 2016 and I was wondering what's the best defense for winning my case. I'm a active volunteer EMT, a paid EMT for Hunter Ambulance, and currently a student. The loss of my license would take away my job, as well as my volunteer work. My previous points were for stop sign 11/2014, speeding 09/2014, and disobeyed traffic sign (left turn in NYC) 08/2014. I have taken a defensive driving course. I did recently get an attorney to fight the case.

Could you explain a little more? Were you infact speeding? Did you go for defensive driving course because of this ticket?
