Customer Question

I have ticket for going 22 miles over the speed limit in another county (I was on a road trip and didn't know the speed limit). The ticket is for TX. Is there a way to get out of this ticket by mail?

Dear Customer,

Most Texas Counties will accept payment of fines online, or by mail (if you agree to the citation and pay the full amount), but contact the Justice of the Peace Court for the county in which the citation was issued to confirm.

Do this well in advance of your first scheduled hearing date.
