I was issued a seatbelt ticket in nys. The ticket had a court date on it that was invalid( there was no court on the night stated on the ticket). Can I move for dismissal?

Unfortunately, this would not be a basis to dismiss the ticket. The court date does not have anything to do with the underlying facts of the case or elements of the charge. It is the kind of mistake that the court will consider a clerical error and amend.
