2003 Camry key fob works intermittently. Replaced the 2032
Replaced the 2032 battery a few times. First thought was that is was finally dead. The fob then worked for a few days and then quit working. Replaced the battery once again and after a few days it quit working as well. Replace the battery the third time and it work for awhile and then stopped so I sort of gave up thinking that the fob must be draining the batteries. BUT, after a few days or not working, it began working again like it should. Then 2 days ago it quit again. Conclusion is that it's not the battery but perhaps some sort of sequence that I might be doing that causes it to stop working. Example: Putting it in park, turning off the key while my foot is on the brake and perhaps evening starting to open the driver door. This has me stumpped! … read more
