Are you saying that the engine cranks but does not start?

Are you looking for some possible causes?

Would you be willing to speak on the phone?

Toyota Mechanic: Amedee, Toyota Technician replied 4 months ago

Ok, sounds good.

Does the engine have spark when cranking?

If so, does it run on starting fluid?

Ask Your Own Toyota Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
It has a new distributor and wires so it has spark and even when I spray the starting fluid it still doesn't start it just keeps turning over

Toyota Mechanic: Amedee, Toyota Technician replied 4 months ago

Good morning sir. The problem needs to be diagnosed. Otherwise, you're going to replace unnecessary parts.

So the answer is to diagnose it.

Now, I can certainly help you diagnose it, but you need to be willing to work with me.

If you're not willing to work with me, I cannot help you.
