Have 2010 tundra. I started to install a remote start and ran into problems so I removed all of the components and went back to smtock

Mechanic's Assistant: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?

Stock wiring and engine will crank and run for a second and then die.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Tundra yourself? What have you tried so far?

Yes I am in a remote area and can't get to a dealer. I have removed both battery cables several times. It ran for a day after having this problem but has returned

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

That's all

Hey how are you,I will try to help you with this issue

when it does not start ,is the security light blinking or steady on the dash, does it come on and go away while switch in the on or start position

do you have a capable scanner to read tundra module, not an obdII reader ,Toyota capable one ?

where did you try to tie in the remote starter and what wire did you cut ,and if cut them how did you splice them back ?

when it does not start , it will still crank over but no engine start correct ?

lets start here and we go from there
