1992 Toyota Camry. 2.2 4 cylinder. Crank no-start condition. Vehicle has spark, verified with spark tester, vehicle has fuel. Verified by fuel gauge. Cranking pressure of approx 42 lbs/inch. Verified signal to injector by installing noid lights. Possible rich condition. Noticed when unplugging 1 injector doesn't matter which one, that engine almost fires up. Tailpipe seems to have excessive carbon by grazing finger inside. Do have have equipment to perform injector drop test. Tried to disable fuel system by removing EFI relay, and spraying some starting fluid into intake to see if engine would run and that did not work. Amy help on diag from here would be greatly appreciTed.

Edit: I do NOT have equipment to test injector drop. Timing seems to be good. Verified by removing front cover and timing belt is still intact. Put a socket on crank pulley and turned engine over until cylinder #1 was at TDC and then removed dist. Cap and examined rotor. Rotor was pointing towards cylinder #1. When I first began working on the car, it would start after sitting for awhile. However, it would run really rough. Then, it was a pretty dry crank until I noticed the vacuum line from the FPR was broken. I replaced the line and retested. (No start). I then removed the #1 injector harness and installed a Noid Light to confirm pulse signal. When cranking, I noticed the engine almost fired up. Then I began disconnecting the injectors one-by-one and testing for pulse signal and again, the vehicle comes much closer to starting but did not change from injector to injector, so I do not believe the issue is tied to a certain cylinder. Also, compression on this engine is around 140psi on each cylinder without much fluctuation.

Happened a few days ago. I am not the owner of the vehicle, I am helping diag the vehicle for the owner. Owner states that vehicle ran fine until wouldn’t start. That’s when he called me. Yes, I have Noid lights flashing on each injector. (4)

doing a test looking at where rotor is pointing is not accurate. A rotor never points right at #1 on the cap. You say you have fuel pressure, noid flashing on all injectors, you have spark so everything to me? adds up to a timing belt that has jumped time, likely only 1 -2 teeth but every symptom is timing belt jump. As we know only takes injector pulse, fule pressure and spark and compression to run, You have all BUT your compression may read ok but can/will even if only off a tooth or so. I surely would be going back to timing belt and rechecking ALL alignment marks. I just can not think of anything else but possible weak spark. I still lean to timing belt jumped. Have to start with the basic we know

I understand what you are saying. My biggest question is this:
I can unplug an injector and it acts like it wants to fire. Sometimes it will, and die as soon as I quit cranking. As soon as I re-install the injector connector, it becomes a Much more drier crank. How would that be timing related?

Fuel pressures:
Static (Fp & B+ jumped) at data link: 43
Cranking pressure: needle bounces but is pretty close to 42.
No dead head pressure due to vehicle not starting.
No injector drop pressure due to not having equip to activate injector manually

I am trying to say timing off even one tooth can cause these symptoms. One MUST confirm the timing marks are dead on , That is first, The way you tested is not correct method
