Check engine light on...

Check engine light on, no acceleration. When I opened the hood, I found the air filter clips NOT clipped. Clipped them closed, restarted and same thing. Sounds like it's in low gear, and will not accelerate beyond about 40mph. Oil temp gauge has been slow to respond for past many months but don't drive regularly so thought that might be an issue.

Can you have the computer scanned and let me know what the diagnostic codes are?

Most of the national chain auto parts stores do this at no charge or if you have a code reader you can do this yourself then let me you what the DTCs are in the computer, thanks.
