Toyota Mechanic: david craig, Auto Mechanic replied 7 months ago

I've checked everything as far as terminals on the plugs smashed wire. The j/p box behind the spedo I think is where the problem is. Any help on that box would be awesome
Toyota Mechanic: david craig, Auto Mechanic replied 7 months ago

why are you thinking that box?

Ask Your Own Toyota Question
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
I let my guy do the job and he put it back together with the wiring harness under the support on the driver side. So rather than removing and repositioning the harness he unplugged enough to re route. Over the support
Toyota Mechanic: david craig, Auto Mechanic replied 7 months ago

damaged the wiring?

Ask Your Own Toyota Question
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
NONE THAT I HAVE FOUND. i BELIEVE HE HAS THE CONNECTORS IN THE WRONG LOCATIONS. A SCREEN SHOT OF THE J/P BOX WITH THE PLUGS IN THE CORRECT LOCATIONS WOULD BE HELPFUL
Customer reply replied 7 months ago
OR WIRE COUNT ON EACH PLUG CONNECTED TO THE BOX WOULD EVEN HELP ME
Toyota Mechanic: david craig, Auto Mechanic replied 7 months ago

are you talking about the junction box?

Toyota Mechanic: david craig, Auto Mechanic replied 7 months ago

Can't hurt man I appreciate all the help. I'm going to pick a service tech manual at the local dealer to borrow they are gonna let me borrow. But I pretty much got the same info from you as I did him. I'm almost certain I've got it narrowed down to the 4 on the right side of the block just not where exactly they should be plugged.
Toyota Mechanic: david craig, Auto Mechanic replied 7 months ago
