Hello, my name is ***** ***** I'm here to help get your problem solved.
This is usually a sign of a clogged catalytic converter if it runs well otherwise and no check engine lights. You can completely remove front oxygen sensor from exhaust to relieve exhaust pressure, if that allows rpm to go higher you know converter is clogged and needs to be replaced. Let me know if you have more questions, thanks.
Is check engine light on?
It sounds like a timing issue considering what has been done without results. I would start by checking ignition timing with a timing light, if good check camshaft timing. Let me know how it goes or if you have more questions, thanks.
Ever get it figured out?
Sounds good, let me know. Thanks.
