Have Toyota Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello, do you have the engine light on?
Does the hesitation occur when engine is cold(first thing in the morning), after it warmed up or does not matter?
I will opt out and let another expert assist you .
The other expert has decided to opt out
I'll do what I can to help but I need a little bit more information:
Is this a 4 cylinder or V6 engine?
Other than replacing the spark pugs was anything done to the engine before this happened?
does the engine overheat?
Does it idle normally?
Thanks for the reply
It's a little difficult to diagnose something like this without the check engine light being on. By any chance did you get gas before this happened? Check for any vacuum under the hood that may have become disconnected.
another thing I would recommend is to just have the computer scanned to see if there are any pending or history diagnostic codes in the computer. auto parts stores like autozone do this at no charge, I just want to be sure there is no trouble code information there which would be a great help. Please try to do that and reply back with any information they get from the computer, thanks.
