Thanks for posting

This is most likely an add on aftermarket alarm system, there should be a red light on or below the dash that is blinking meaning the alarm is set, look for a toggle switch mounted in the left side kick panel and be sure it is set to off, there may be a push button switch on the bak of the light if it's mounted along the lower edghe of the dash, push it while turning the key on and see if it stops . On some modles the light is mounted in the dasdh and can be pushed like a button, try to use it.

You may wish to do the following before anything else it works with most after market systems:

remove the key from the ignition

remove the negative battery cable

put the key in and turn it to ON, leave door open

re connect the battery

this should reset the alarm and make it stay of

Sorry for the delay

Turn the key off, push the button in and hold it, turn the key back on , wait until the light stops blinking.

Ok, you may want to consider having the alarm removed to prevent this from happening again or you could try to see if an alarm shop can provide you with a remote that matches this system
