have a 2000 toyota camry that had a dead battery replaced the battery. car wont start. head lights come on. car turns over. radio doesn't work, windows dont work ac doesn't work. i was thinking maybe a main fuse or something?
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Have you checked the bulbs?
Customer: would a main fuse keep the car from starting and those things from working.
JA: Are you fixing your Camry yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes. replaced the battery. everything worked before the battery went dead.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

There is a main fuse in the box under the hood, it's a large fuse of around 100 amps, check to see if it's blown. Do the dash lights turn on when the key is in the ON position? Do you have a 12 volt test light or a voltmeter?

Dash lights do not come on. Car doesn't start. No windows. No radio. No ac. have volt meter

Thanks, ***** ***** main fuse under the hood in the fuse box, you can remove the clear cover and measure voltage on the filament inside.
