2001 echo will not start, took the battery out to do some

2001 echo will not start , took the battery out to do some work on it and now i belive my prostart alarm is stopping my from starting the car , also the transmitter waas lost by last owner . Any way to bypass this problem ?
JA: Have you tried locking and unlocking the driver's side door using the key itself?
Customer: locks are not electric does this matter?
JA: Are you fixing your Echo yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I replaced the started and alt tried , 5 key turn thing but thats for the factory alarm
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Try disconnecting the battery again. Once you have it disconnected turn your ignition switch to the run position and then hook up the battery with the key still in the run position. Then try and start it.

Ok other than disconnecting the alarm and removing it I wouldn't know what other way to go about it. Would you like info on removing it, or I can release your question to see if you have better luck with another tech.

Hi Im David, remove the aftermarket alarm system. they cause so many headaches for people because of the way they are wired improperly.
