2007 Toyota sienna runs fine while the engine cool after about 2 hours it will not even idle and engine light blinks
JA: Just to clarify, can you tell me which light it is? And does it blink first, then stay on steady?
Customer: Engine light stays on but blinks when miss firing
JA: Are you fixing your Sienna yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Spark plugs and # 1 coil replaced
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

first thing that must be done immediately. a full compression test to check the general health of the engine.

chances are the compression will be fine since it runs fine until it warms up, so I think its going to be a oil pressure problem or a timing issue.

it can also be a computer problem thats overheating
