My power steering hose blew, covered my alternator and car

my power steering hose blew , covered my alternator and car died. replaced hose and alt. and something had shorted out because now it sounds like Im niot getting fuel. wants to start but wont stay...like it's out of gas, which its not. 89 4runner 22re

JA: Are you fixing your 4Runner yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: towed it to my mechanic but electrical aint his thing, so yes its in my garage and i, with some help , will fix this

Have you tried putting some fuel directly into the intake through a hose and see if it stays running longer? Checked fuses in the fuse box under the hood? Is it getting spark from the coil?
