I have 2000 Tundra....cannot get alarm to reset...usually I just push 'open' button. ...doesn't work this time
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Is your battery fully charged?
Customer: Yes....disconnected battery hoping that would do it ...fuse is alright. ..can't stop horn from honking
JA: Are you fixing your Tundra yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, ma'am...truck won't run to take it anywhere
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I've pushed all three buttons trying to turn off...nothing worked

Hello and welcome to just answer and allowing me to assist you.Do you have more then one fob? if so try another. Mine is a 2000 model as well and the three buttons are on the key itself rather than an attached fob. If yours is like this it has a small LED which should light when one of the buttons is pressed. If it doesn't, just unscrew the back cover and replace the battery. You may already have an activated alarm. Or try another fob.
