Power rear sun shade stopped working when the Toyota

Customer Question

power rear sun shade stopped working when the Toyota dealership "detailed" the car because they had gotten grease on the carpets during a repair that they did.
JA: What is the model/year of your Toyota?
Customer: 2007 Limited
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am going to attempt the repair. I haven't done anything yet. The dealership still has the auto and denies any part in the problem and also wants over $1500 to fix. I just have a really hard time believing in such coincidences.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No thanks,

Hello and welcome to just answer and allowing me to assist you. Before we start may I ask a couple questions? How can the dealer give you a quote to fix the problem if they haven't diagnosed what the problem is ? Or have they? Also exactly what detailing did they do any water to the interior? Was it working normaly before the detailing?
