Customer Question

2010. Prius. P lock malfunction. Battery is fine. How to reset?
JA: Have you tested the battery with a voltmeter? And can you see if it's leaking or not?
Customer: This occurred when we were changing the fuse for the headlights
JA: Are you fixing your Prius yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Headlights stopped working. Bright Lights worked. Check fuse for headlights was okay. When we put the fuse back in and starting the car P lock malfunction was on.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

This is displayed when the transmission park lock isn't in the intended position. It could be an actual issue with the transmission or it could be a low 12v battery. You can disconnect the 12v battery to clear fault codes and see if the warning goes away, but there isn't anything that can or needs to be reset. If you're seeing the warning then the issue is currently present.
