Hello and welcome

The O/d light is on and will not work as long as the check engine light is on, the first step is to find out why the check engine light is on by getting the diagnostic codes from the computer, do you happen to have a code reader? If not most auto parts stores like Autozone, O Reilly or advance auto will help you do that at no charge (ex. CA) then just reply here and let me know what the codes numbers are that were in the computer and I can help with what should be done to correct this.
