Hello. Are you asking if you need to change your tpms when you change your tires?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I am having sensors installed in the second set of tires (Studded winter set) for both vehicles (2016 Lexus GX 460 and 2011 Crew Cab 4x4 Tundra) so alls I need to do is seasonally swap tires. I live in a remote location so there is no dealer available unless I pay $1000 per vehicle to ship them to Juno AK or Seatle WA. I have ordered a 16 Pin Mini VCI TIS adapter (latest version TIS) and a Autel TS401 to read the new sensors. Do I have what I need to update the TPMS in these vehicles ?

OK, I understand now. Some TPMS sensors require a relearn procedure to be done using a scan tool, which the shop that installs them will be able to do, but often times they relearn on their own by simply driving for 10-20 minutes over 20 mph after installation. I will attach the specifs to your vehicle for relearning the TPMS.
