Hello, my name is***** the noise go away when you rev the engine? Does it go completely away once the engine warms up?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
It goes away in 2 or 3 seconds. If I keep vehicle off for 5 to 6 hours, it comes for one second only, but if it's standing overnight, then it comes for account 2 to 3 seconds.

Thank you. The most common cause of this is an exhaust heat shield that is loose. I have seen this many times on this vehicle. The next most common is what they are probably talking about. It is typically caused by the variable valve timing. The actuator usually fails and will cause this noise. It would need to be replaced in order to stop the noise. If the oil was not changed regularly it makes it even more common for this part to fail. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need more assistance.
